GETTING THERE

There are regular flight routes to the Falklands. All fly in to the airport at Mount Pleasant military complex.

The Ministry of Defence airbridge, non-commercial, flies between the islands and the United Kingdom. These flights operate twice a week from Brize Norton, Oxforshire.

LATAM airlines is South American based and flies into the Falklands each Saturday morning from Santiago via Punta Arenas (Chile). This flight returns the same day. LAN connects with ongoing flights to Europe, North America, Australasia and Africa. Once a month this flight lands in Argentina (Rio Gallegos). LATAM also operates a midweek (Wednesday) flight from from São Paulo returning the same day. This flights calls at Cordoba, Argentina once a month. LATAM

Many cruise liners, large and small call at the Falklands during the summer months. A cruise may also call at South Georgia and the Antarctic Peninsula.
